We have a garage sale and in tandem bake sale in the works...
Are you cleaning house this summer? Do you have any items you'd like taken from your hands? The MOMS Club board will gladly take any toys, strollers, household items etc. that you'd otherwise have donated via our yahoo-group or goodwill. Simply contact one of the board members to schedule a pickup. :)

Proceeds will go towards our elected charities of 2010-2011; The Mother-to-Mother Fund (the MOMS Club International fund that provides financial grants to members during times of extreme personal crisis or natural disaster) and Not For Sale(a campaign to end human trafficking across the globe).

Founders Day Fundraiser~ Tanaka Farm Produce Boxes

What is Founder’s Day? It’s an annual reunion of all the MOMS chapters of the region, hosted by MOMS Club International. It’s a time for bonding and getting to know other chapters from around the world. The highlight of the event is the raffle baskets with varied prices ranging from toys, trips, to cash. That’s right they’ve been known to give away as much has $1000 cash! Money raised from Founders day goes towards operation costs and the Mother-to-Mother Fund. Overall Founders Day makes for a nice Mom’s Day Out.

That’s right we are back in business. Maybe you’ve had their veggie boxes in the past or have always wondered about it. We will be selling Tanaka Veggie boxes this summer. Look for details in our FB page, newsgroup, blog and webpage. A sign-up list will be making rounds as well.

Proceeds from our veggie box will go towards subsidizing the price of Founder’s Day tickets.

When? Every Wednesday from July 21st to August 25th.
Location & Time: Boxes will be delivered @ Park Day, 9:30 A.M.

About the box…

Box price is $30.00.

Tanaka Farms will donate $5.00 for each & every box sold on every delivery to the club!!!

Each box contains a selection of seasonal organic fruit and vegetable produce, enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 for a week.

Some suggestions for coping, if the amount of produce or price proves too much for you is splitting the box with another member!

Contact a board member TODAY, if you'd like to sign up or get more information. First delivery is set to occur July 21st. Get the word out maybe your neighbor wants a box too! :)
